We evaluated the efficacy of MaHuang Fuzi Xixin decoction combined with moxibustion for allergic rhinitis.Methods：Out-patients from 2009 to 2012 were participated in the research， 56 males，70 females， aged between 20 to 60 years old， medical history varying from 4 to 35 years.The patients were given MaHuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction modified according to individual conditions，combined with moxibustion.Main parameters observed：sneezing， rhinorrhea， nasal congestion， nasal itching， eye itching and body signs.Follow-ups：3months.These parameters were described by average and standard error (x-±s) and compared by t test.Results：The symptoms and body signs relieved significantly after treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion：Modified MaHuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction combined with moxibustion is effective treatment of allergic rhinitis.
