To observe the clinical effect of integrated treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine for anovulatory infertility. Methods: A total of 230 patients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group (118 cases) and control group (112 cases). The control group was treated with clomiphene， the observation group were treated with kidney tonifying and blood activating Chinese medicines， in addition to clomiphene. The patients with kidney yang deficiency were given Yougui Wan and modified Taohong siwu Tang， the patients with kidney yin deficiency were given Zuogui pill and modified Taohong Siwu Tang. We observed the patients hormone levels (LH and E2)， basal body temperature， Insler score， endometrial thickness， diameter of dominant follicles and mature follicles calculation， the ovulation percentage and pregnancy percentage. Results: LH and E2 levels elevated in both groups after treatment， the differences between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The percentage of basal body temperature returning to normal were 76.27%， 64.29% respectively (P<0.05). Comparison of insler score， endometrial thickness， diameter of dominant follicles and mature follicles also showed significant difference (P<0.05). The observation group and the control group had an ovulation percentage 73.73%， 55.36% respectively， 1 year successful pregnancy were 67.80%， 38.39%， which was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion: Combined treatment of clomiphene with TCM syndrome differentiated treatment-kidney tonifying and blood activating Chinese medicines-enhance cure of ovulation and pregnancy in patients with dysfunction infertility.
