To analyze the characteristics in voluntary detoxification males.Methods: Using qi-blood-fluid state identification system to conduct research on TCM pathological factors of voluntary detoxification people.The diagnosis standards of drug addicts are in compliant with the Standards of Chinese Classification and Diagnosis of mental disorders，CCMD-3.The Chinese medical pathological factors were collected by means of Syndrome differentiation.Results: Syndrome distribution between the voluntary group and compulsory detoxification group by Police were roughly the same，and was quite different from compulsory detoxification by Justice Dept.The voluntary group and the compulsory detoxification group by Police had significant differences in Chinese pathological factors such as heat，blood stasis，essence deficiency and large intestine (P<0.05).Compared with the compulsory detoxification by Justice Dept，the voluntary group showed significant differences in essence deficiency and large intestine (P<0.05).Conclusion: Syndrome distribution is alike between voluntary group and compulsory detoxification group by Police.There is difference between voluntary detoxification and compulsory drug addicts in terms of TCM pathological factors.Moreover the psychological pressure variance can also lead to drug relapse.
