Abstract:Wang Zhongxian (1915—1986) was a very famous traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) physician specialized in hematology, who invented a Chinese herb formula named shengxue pill, which is still used nationally widely in China. Moreover, Dr. Wang worked in the pediatrics department in his early life. I found two pediatric medical records of Dr. Wang when I was visiting his family and organizing his literatures. The two pieces of pediatric records were written in 1964 when Dr. Wang was working in the pediatric department. The pediatric records were very precious, which could reflect Dr. Wangs medical thoughts in his early-stage of clinical biography. And they were good examples of Dr. Wangs concise and effective prescriptions. However, as a reserved records from long time ago, many medical conditions have had changed today. I keep the records remain the same, and try to analyze the records according to medical background in 1960s, through which we could understand and learn Dr. Wangs medical thoughts.
