To explore the rule of selecting specific acupoints for acupuncture treating diabetic gastroparesis through literature review.Methods:Thirty six literatures on acupuncture or acupuncture combining with other treatments for diabetic gastroparesis published from year 1982 to year 2014 were retrieved from PubMed,CNKI,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform.The rule of selecting specific acupoints in treating diabetic gastroparesis was analyzed.Results:According to analysis,the specific acupoints were the most applied points,and 25 specific acupoints were selected for treating diabetic gastroparesis,accounting for 83.33% of total acupoints.The frequency was 170 times with the rate of 93.92%.The most frequently selected acupoints were Mu point,Wushu point,Bahui point,Xiahe point,Luo point,Bamai Jiaohui point,Beishu point.The majority of specific acupoints belong to Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming,Ren Meridian,Bladder Meridian of Foot-taiyang,and Spleen Meridian of Foot-taiyin.All results above show that the conclusion may act as guidance to acupuncture clinical practice.
