Tongluo Zhujing Pill was formulated by the materia medica that have the function of moving qi and activating blood as well as resolving stasis and dredging collaterals based on the formula of Zhujing Pill. Therefore, it has the function of tonifying kidney and essence, resolving stasis and dredging collaterals. Yin deficiency and blood stasis is the main pathogenesis of diabetic vascular diseases, and the syndromes correspond to Tongluo zhujing Pills indications. This paper mainly probes into the corresponding mechanism of Tongluo zhujing Pill in treating diabetic vascular diseases.
