Abstract:To investigate clinical efficacy of Chinese and western medicine in vitiligo and their effects on the serum inflammatory factors. Methods:Vitiligo patients of 110 cases in our hospital from February 2014 to February 2016 were randomly divided into two groups, each group had 55 cases. The control group received routine western medicine by oral medication and apply salves, the observation group additionally received Chinese medicine for treatment prescription. One course of treatment was four weeks, both groups were observed for two courses of treatment.Clinical efficacy, adverse reactions,interleukin-17(IL-17),Tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),Interferon gamma(IFN-γ) were compared before and after treatment. Results:After 8 weeks’ treatment, the total effective rate of the control group was 76.36%,while in the observation group, the total effective rate was 87.27%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05=;serum levels of interleukin-17(IL-17),Tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),Interferon gamma(IFN-γ) decreased significantly in two groups compared with those before treatment(P<0.05=;no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion:Integrated Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment can regulate body immune function, lower serum IL-17,IFN-γ and TNF-α levels, which has good clinical results and high safety. It is worthy of clinical application.
