Salvia Root is one of the most widely used Chinese medicine in our country.It is often adopted in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.In recent years,remarkable progress has been made in the research of Salvia Root.In this passage,the structure and properties,the extraction and separation method,the method of quality control and the pharmacological activities of phenolic acids in Salvia Root were summarized.
