With the rapid development of TCM internationalization，ISO，WHO，WFCMS and other international organizations have been carrying on TCM international standardization activities in the latest decades.In the terms of national strategy，the article is to make a deep analysis on the process，present status and prospects of TCM international standardization，put forward the historical demarcation of international standardization and clearly explain China’s strategic directions.The article is also to map the construction for the new strategic pattern of promoting TCM international standardization.
