To observe the clinical efficacyof Erchen Decoction and Sanziyangqin Decoction on the treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD(syndrome of phlegm-damp affecting the lung).Methods:There were 140 cases of acute exacerbation of COPD(syndrome of phlegm-damp affecting the lung)dividing into the treatment group and the control group，according to their registration order.The control group were given cefuroxime sodium injection andDoxofylline Injection，Bromhexine injection，and inhalation of Budesonide/Fomoterol.TheTreatment group were based on the above treatment as well asthe Erchen Decoction and Sanziyangqin Decoction，1 dose per day providing 2 servings.The total course of treatment was 12 d.The symptom score，improvement of lung function index，efficiency，white blood cell and neutrophil percentage before and after 12 d of were evaluated to observe the adverse reactions.Results:The health condition of two groups were improved after treatment（P<005）.However，in the treatment group，the improvement of the indicators was more obvious（P<005）.Conclusion:Erchen Decoction and Sanziyangqin Decoction had significant effect on the treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD(syndrome of phlegm-damp affecting the lung)and were worthy for clinical application.
