This paper is to analyze the related domestic and international literature in recent years and to elaborate the concept and current situation of clinical pathway，the necessity and feasibility of developing and implementing TCM clinical pathway，the practice and application of the chronic heart failure(CHF)clinical pathway，and the importance of Clinical stern Medicine.This may provide a theoretical basis for the construction and improvement of clinical pathway of chronic heart failure treated by integrated Chinese and western medicine.
