Abstract:To observe the clinical effect of integrative Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of nephrotic syndrome, and provide basis for future clinical application. Methods:A total of 110 cases of patients with nephrotic syndrome during September 2014 to September 2015 admitted in our hospital were collected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with western medicine, while patients in the observation group were treated with integrative Chinese and western medicine. The changes of kidney function and inflammatory factor of patients in two groups before and after treatment were compared,as well as clinical curative effect, adverse reaction and recurrence rate. Results:After treatment, the kidney function and inflammatory factor of two groups were all improved in different degrees, but the performance of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was 89.09%,which was higher than 64.45% in control group with significant difference (χ2=8.75,P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was 23.64%,while that of the control group was 18.18%,but there was no statistically significant difference (χ2=0.50,P>0.05).The overall recurrence rate in observation group was 12.73%,which was significantly lower than 23.64% in control group (χ2=4.45,P<0.05).Conclusion:Integrative Chinese and western medicine can improve the total effective rate of nephrotic syndrome, reduce the adverse reaction rate of drugs and the incidence of inflammatory response,as well as improve the renal function, therefore,is worth of further popularization and application in clinical practice.
