Apply Global geographic information system for medicinal plant(GMPGIS)to predict global producing area of Morinda officinalis.Methods:Seven key factors，such as annual mean temperature，mean temperature of warmest quarter，mean temperature of coldest quarter，annual precipitation，annual mean radiation，annual mean relative humidity and soil type were used to get the ecological suitability area based on 100 distribution sites of Morinda officinalis.Results:In the end，we found that China，Vietnam，Brazil，Laos and Garner etc.are main countries having optimum producing areas for Morinda officinalis.Conclusion:China was the main producing area.Guangdong，Fujian，Guangxi，Hainan and other provinces were suitable for planting this TCM.We should pay attention to the research on the artificial cultivation of Morinda officinalis to provide scientific guidance for its planting.
