To observe the clinical effect of Yangxinshi tablet in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris patients. Methods: A total of 60 patients were randomly divided into treament group and control group. The control group adopted routine therapy with blood vessel dilatation medicines and anticoagulant drugs; the treatment group was given routine therapy combined with Yangxinshi tablet. Frequency and degree of angina attack, total pressure of st segment of the electrocardiogram, and the adverse reaction of the medicine were observed before and after the treatment. Results: There was 19 cases with marked improvement, 9 effective cases and 2 invalid cases the treatment group;15 cases in the control group were found with marked improvement, including 11 effective cases and 4 invalid cases. There was a significant difference in the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group (93% vs 86% , P<0.05). Conclusion: Yangxinshi tablet has definitely therapeutic effect and no adverse reaction on unstable angina pectoris.
