Abstract:To discuss effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with bushenzhuanggu decoction on joint function and life quality of patients with femoral fracture.Methods: All 160 patients with femoral fracture from September 2012 to December 2015 in our Hospitals were selected. Patients were randomly divided into a stimulus decoction group and a routine group, 80 cases in each The routine group was treated with conventional rehabilitation training, while the stimulus decoction group was given extra neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with Bushenzhuanggu decoction, Harris hip score method was used to evaluate joint function, the daily life ability scale (ADL) the quality of life, and they were followed up for 6 months. All patients' joint function, bone mineral density and fracture healing, full weight-bearing time and life quality before and after 1, 3, 6 months' treatment were analyzed. Results: Efficient rate before and after treatment and Harris scored of the stimulate decoction group were significantly higher than that of the conventional group, and there were statistically significance (P<0.05); after treatment, bone mineral density of the stimulate decoction group was obviously higher than that of normal group, fracture healing, full weight-bearing time of the former significantly shorter than the latter, and there were statistically significance (P<0.05);1, 3, 6 months after treatment, ADL scores of the stimulate decoction group were significantly higher than thoseof the normal group, and there were statistically significance (P<0.05).Conclusion:Neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with Bushenzhuanggu decoction treatment can effectively improve joint function in patients with femoral fracture and promote the healing of fracture patients. It helps to improve the patient's quality of life, and is worth for further clinical promotion.
