Stroke registry can meet the needs of real word stroke research and provide more abundant, comprehensive data or information. This article try to explore the key link and the direction of application of stroke registry study, by analyzing both the the history and research status of stroke registry at home and abroad as well as studying the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.
