| Tanshinone IIA is the main active ingredient of salviae miltiorrhizae to protect cardiovascular system through different mechanisms. This paper is to summarize fundamental research in recent years of Tanshinone IIA's protective effect on cardiovascular system. It may provide basis for wider use of Tanshinone ⅡA in clinical treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. |
