To evaluate the effect of Shenhu Banxia decoction combined with CF/DCF in the treatment of patients with gastric cancer, and to explore the related mechanisms. Methods:Patients belong to the type of qi deficiency and toxin accumulation Yun IIIB-IV gastric cancer were selected according to the inclusion criteria. A total of 66 cases were randomly divided into two groups of 33 patients, observation group (Shenhu Banxia decoction combined with chemotherapy) and control group (chemotherapy). Changes were observed in clinical symptoms, E-cadherin, Vimentin concentration clinical detection indicators. Results:Compared with the condition before the treatment:The KPS score, the score of life symptom score,survival period,tumor size and E-cad expression in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was of high statistical significance(P<0.01); TCM symptom integral and Vimentin protein expression were lower than that of the control group, the difference was highly statistically significant(P<0.01). Conclusion:Shenhu Banxia decoction may inhibit the tumor cell invasion, decrease the size of tumor, then improve prognosis of the type of qi deficiency and toxin accumulation stage IIIB-IV gastric cancer patients. by inducing the expression of E-cad and inhibiting the expression of vimentin
