To explore the levels of warming yang analgesics drugs and the application methods of the original under the guidance of the Theory of Graded Medication. Methods:Methods of traditional philology and discourse analysis were used. Results:The development of the Theory of Grading Medication was cleared according to the ancient traditional Chinese medicine literature. The levels of warming yang analgesics drugs of classical prescriptions were delimited according to the narration in the original work by Zhang Zhongjing, and the thinking model of the “recognition-grading-adjustment” application mode was analyzed. Conclusion:The warming yang analgesics of classical prescriptions can be divided into three levels:Ramulus Cinnamomi, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, Aconite Main Root Decoction; The diagnosis and treatment of diseases can be divided into three steps:identification of drugs and syndrome, level determination and adjustment according to other factors. This model provides a new idea for the analysis of Zhang Zhongjing's diagnosis and treatment system and the research of the thinking steps of modern treatment based on syndrome differentiation.
