In China,Taoism,different from Buddhism,Christianity,is the only religion based on the Chinese culture.Taoist medicine is not only an indispensable part of the Chinese traditional medicine,but also the summery of long-term medical practices.The Taoist canon of Ming dynasty is a masterpiece of classical literatures of Taoism,including many medical literatures related.Although some of the medicine and prescriptions in the medical literature are still to be discussed in terms of the efficacy,most of them still have certain theoretical value and practical significance.
