To study and observe the clinical efficacy and safety evaluation of Xiaoer Baotaikang Granules in the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection in children.Methods:A total of 86 children with acute upper respiratory tract infection admitted to our pediatric clinic from January 2018 to January 2019 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Xiaoer Guqiao Qingre Granules,while the observation group was treated with Xiaoer Baotaikang Granules.Clinical efficacy,symptoms subsidence time,serum levels of inflammatory factors and incidence of adverse reactions of the 2 groups were compared.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the cure rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the significant efficiency was lower than that of the control group(P>0.05).The inefficiency was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptoms disappearance time of fever,cough,nasal obstruction,runny nose and sore throat,abdominal distension and loss of appetite in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group and there were statistical difference between the 2 groups(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-18(IL-18),tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the 2 groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the levels of each index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were 2 cases of watery stool diarrhea and 1 case of abdominal pain in the control group.No adverse reactions occurred in the observation group.There were no statistical difference between the 2 groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Xiaoer Baotaikang Granules is effective in the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection in children.It can shorten the time of symptoms subsidence,reduce the level of inflammation reaction in child patients,and has good therapeutic safety.It is worthy of clinical recommendation. |
