Abstract:To explore the curative effects of Fengke Decoction combined with Acupoint Application on post-infection cough,so as to enrich the treatment methods and provide a strong basis for the treatment of post-infection cough. Methods:A total of 88 patients with postinfectious cough were enrolled in Nanjing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Hospital from January 2017 to January 2018. The patients were divided into a control group (44 cases) and an experimental group (n=44 cases) according to random number table. The control group was given routine treatment, and the experimental group was given Fengke Decoction combined with Acupoint Application on the basis of the control group for 2 weeks. TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment with different methods, and the interleukin-8 (IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),the level of substance P (SP) in induced sputum supernatant were observed and the adverse reactions were collected during treatment. The efficacy was observed after treatment. Results:1) After completing the treatment regimen in the 2 groups, the TCM symptom scores were significantly lower than those before the treatment, and the observation group was significantly better than that of the the control group (P<0.05); 2) the levels of IL-8,TNF-α,and SP in the 2 groups of patients were significantly lower than those tbefore treatment, and the observation group was better than the control group (P<0.05); 3) The clinical control rate and total effective rate of the patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). 4) There was no significant difference in the levels of ALT,AST,CCr,BUN and the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:Fengke Decoction combined with acupoint Application can improve the curative effects, reduce the level of inflammation, improve the symptoms and quality of life.
