| 产后出血是导致孕产妇死亡的首要原因，益母草注射液是防治产后出血的中药注射剂，临床研究和应用丰富。本文基于研究团队对产后出血的认识和应用益母草注射液防治产后出血的研究成果和应用经验，并结合国内同行近3年的研究成果，探讨益母草注射液治产后出血的疗效。结果显示，益母草注射液联合西药对不同分娩形式均能有效降低出血量，降低产后出血的发生风险，且不良反应减少，但需进行更高质量的临床随机试验提供更有力证据。形成的应用共识值得推广。 |

| Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is the leading cause of maternal death，and Yimucao Injection (YMC-I) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Injection for preventing and treating PPH with rich clinical research and application.This paper is based on the team's understanding of PPH and the research achievements and application experience of YMC-I for the prevention and treatment of PPH.Combined with the research results of domestic counterparts over the past 3 years，the therapeutic effects of YMC-I on PPH is discussed.It is found that for different types of childbirth，YMC-I combined with Western medicine can effectively reduce blood loss，lower the risk of PPH as well as adverse events.However，high-quality randomized clinical trials will be needed to give more powerful evidence，and and to form application consensus，which is worthy of being promoted. |
