Herba Leonuri，which has the effects of regulating menstruation，is a famous medicine for menstruation and delivery and has been well applied for the treatment of gynecological and obstetric diseases.The uterus is the key target organ of Herba Leonuri with the function of “regulating menstruation”.By summarizing the research progress on the pharmacological effects of Herba Leonuri on the uterus in this paper，we can see that Herba Leonuri has various functions on uterus，including bidirectional regulation on uterine contractile activity，regulating myoelectricity of uterus，protecting uterine endometrium and promoting its repair，and anti-inflammation of endometrium.The pharmacological actions are closely related to varieties of Herba Leonuri，processing，extraction of ingredients and uterine states.The paper is of significance to guide the quality improvement and clinical application of Herba Leonuri.
