To investigate and analyze the effects of Buyanghuanwu Decoction on the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor-1(TIMP-1),glutamate(Glu),PI3K and AKT in rats with cerebral hemorrhage.Methods:A total of 90 SD rats were selected and divided into a model group,a normal control group and Buyang Huanwu Decoction group by random lottery.Rats in the model group and the Buyang Huanwu Decoction group were given the cerebral hemorrhage model.Starting from 2 d after the model,the Buyang Huanwu Decoction group was given the gavage treatment of Buyang Huanwu Decoction,while the model group was given normal saline and continuous administration for 14 d.The expression levels of MMP-9,TIMP-1,Glu,PI3K,and AKT,Bcl-2,BAX in brain tissues of the 3 groups of rats were compared.Results:The levels of MMP-9,TIMP-1 and Glu in the Buyang Huanwu Decoction group and the model group were higher than those in the normal control group,and the levels of MMP-9 and Glu in the Buyang Huanwu Decoction group were lower than those in the model group while the TIMP-1 was higher than those in the model group(all P<0.05).The expression levels of PI3K and AKT in the brain tissues of rats in the Buyang Huanwu Decoction group and the model group were higher than those in the normal control group.PI3K、AKT protein expression levels in brain tissues of rats in Buyang Huanwu Decoction were higher than those in the model group(all P<0.05).Bcl-2 and BAX protein expression levels in brain tissues of rats in Buyang Huanwu Decoction group were higher than those in model group(both P<0.05).Conclusion:Buyang Huanwu Decoction can significantly improve the levels of MMP-9,TIMP-1 and Glu in rats with cerebral hemorrhage,which may further regulate the expression of Bcl-2 and BAX proteins by activating the PI3K/AKT signal transduction pathway,thereby playing a role in protecting brain tissue. |
