To study the effects of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on cardiac and gastrointestinal functions of patients undergoing valve replacement.Methods:A total of 70 patients undergoing valve replacement admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Xinjiang Medical University from February 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the study objects，and were divided into an observation group(n＝36)and a control group(n＝34)according to the random number table method.The control group was given conventional treatment，while the observation group was treated with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction combined with milirone.The clinical therapeutic effects，left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)，end-systolic diameter(LVESD)，end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)，growth hormone(GH)，prealbumin(PA)，transferrin(TRF)，and other clinical indicators and complications of the 2 groups were compared.Results:The total effective rates of the 2 groups were 94.44% and 76.47% respectively，with significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment，cardiac function in both groups was significantly improved，and LVEF level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group，while LVEDD and LVESD levels were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment，gastrointestinal function was significantly improved in both groups，and GH，PA and TRF levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of ventilator assistance，ICU stay and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the 2 groups was 8.33% and 20.59%，respectively，with no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction has a significant effects on the patients undergoing valve replacement，and can effectively improve their cardiac and gastrointestinal function.
