Abstract:To explore the effects of Jieyu Pill combined with mirtazapine on the NE and BDNF and social function in patients with intractable depression. Methods:A total of 80 patients with intractable depression treated in Hunan Brain Hospital between July 2017 and July 2019 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group(n=38)and an observation group(n=42)by random number table method. The control group was given mirtazapine tablets, and the observation group was given Jieyu Pill for treatment. Both groups were treated continuously for 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy of the 2 groups after treatment were compared; the levels of serum NE,BDNF,social function, and quality of life before and after treatment between the 2 groups were compared; and the incidence of adverse reactions during the 2 groups were calculated. Results:The total effective rate in the observation group was 88.10%,which was higher than 68.42% in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with those before treatment, after 8 weeks of treatment, the levels of serum NE and BDNF in the 2 groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05); the scores of HAMD and SDSS in both groups decreased, and the observation group was obviously lower in the control group(P<0.05); the scores of ADL in both groups increased, and those in the observation group was higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 11.90%,which was lower than 23.68% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Jieyu Pill combined with mirtazapine in the treatment of intractable depression can significantly increase the the levels of serum NE and BDNF in patients, improve the patient's depression, thereby improving the social function of patients, improving their quality of life, and improving patient clinical efficacy, with better safety.
