Abstract:To investigate the effect of acupotomy loosening hamstring method on tissue tension of knee muscles of rabbits with knee osteoarthritis muscle. Methods:Twenty-eight experimental rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups:electro-acupuncture therapy group, acupotomy therapy group, model group and blank group, with 7 rabbits per group. After eight weeks of left hind limb extension position modeling method, 1 rat in the blank group and model group were randomly selected for light microscope observation to verify the success of the modeling. After successfully modeling, electro-acupuncture therapy group and acupotomy therapy group were intervened for 3 weeks. Then, the soft tissue tension meter was placed on the muscular abdomen and the muscular tendon transition of the biceps femoris, semitendinosus semimembranosus, rectus femoris, and gastrocnemius muscles, and the force-displacement values was measured respectively. Results:Compared with the blank group, all points in the model group had a decreasing trend, except for the biceps femoris points, the other points had statistical significance (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, the electro-acupuncture group showed an increasing trend in each point, and the muscular tendon transition of the biceps femoris and semitendinosus semimembranosus was statistically significant (P<0.05). All points in the acupotomy group were increased, except for the gastrocnemius point (the muscular tendon transition), other points were statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the electro-acupuncture group, all points in the acupotomy group were increased, except for the biceps femoris (he muscular tendon transition),other points were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:acupomoty release hamstring muscle method can effectively reduce the surface tension of the knee muscles.
