Abstract:To investigate the effects of Yiqi Yangyin Formula on the immune function and the expression of P16, Ki67, and P53, Survivin in cancer tissues of cervical cancer rats. Methods:The cervical cancer rat model was constructed by inoculating cervical cancer cells U14 in the right anterior armpit, and the cervical cancer rats were randomly divided into a model group and a low/high dose experimental group, each with 12 rats. Rats in the low/high-dose experimental group were given 0.435 and 1.36 mL/(kg·d) of Yiqi Yangyin Formula, respectively by gavage, and the model group was given the same amount of normal saline for 30 days. Flow cytometry was used to detect the peripheral blood immune T cell subsets in rats; HE staining and Wb method were used to detect the pathological changes of cancer tissues and the expression of P16, Ki67, P53, and Survivin protein, respectively. Results:Compared with the model group, the ratio of CD3+, CD4+, NKT cells and the relative expression of P16 and P53 proteins in the peripheral blood of rats in the low/high-dose experimental group were increased. The high-dose experimental group was higher than the low-dose experimental group; CD8+ cell ratio, tumor weight and volume, and the relative expression of Ki67 and Survivin protein in cancer tissues were reduced or shrunk. The high-dose experimental group was lower or lower than the low-dose experimental group(P<0.05); and the tumor suppression rate of the high-dose experimental group was higher than that of the low-dose experimental group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Yiqi Yangyin Formula can effectively up-regulate the expression of P16 and P53 protein in cervical cancer tissues, and down-regulate Ki67, Survivin protein expression, inhibit tumor growth, improve immune function, and play a role in treating cervical cancer.
