Abstract:To observe the clinical efficacy of warming needle moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of senile neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain. Methods:A total of 108 elderly patients with neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 54 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given ketorolac tromethamine capsule orally, and the patients in the observation group were given warming needle moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment. The clinical efficacy, pain, dysfunction and quality of life of the two groups were compared, the oxidative stress status of the body and the level of the pain-causing factors in the serum were monitored, and the recurrence rate was calculated. Results:The effective rates of patients in the control group and the observation group were 75.93% (41/54) and 92.59% (50/54) respectively, which has better efficacy in observation group (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS score and ODQ score of dysfunction in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The Sf-36 score of quality of life was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The serum levels of MAD and PGE2 were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), while the levels of SOD, T-Aoc, GSH-PX and β-EP were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group was 5.26% (2/38), which was significantly lower than that of the control group of 27.27% (6/22) (P<0.05).Conclusion:Warming needle moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can effectively relieve the pain degree of elderly patients with neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, reduce functional dysfunction, improve the quality of life, reduce oxidative stress injury, and is not easy to relapse, has an ideal anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
