Clinical Observation on Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy with Spleen-kidney Deficiency Complicated by Stasis Type by the Plum-blossom Needle
To investigate effects of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) with spleen-kidney deficiency by stasis type by the plum-blossom needle. Methods:From February 2015 to January 2018,a total of 110 cases of DPN with spleen-kidney deficiency by stasis type in Panyu Hospital of Chinese Medicinewere selected as the research objects and were divided into an observation group (60 cases) and a control group (50 cases) accorded to different treatment methods. The control group were treated with lipoic acid+mecobalamin, and the observation group were given the plum-blossom needle based on the control group. The 2 groups were treated 28 days and the prognosis of the 2 groups were recorded and observed. Results:The total effective rates of the observation group were 98.3%,which were significantly higher than that of the control group (88.0%) (P<0.05).The latency of the electroencephalogram was lower than that before treatment, and the amplitude were higher than that before treatment. The differences was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were also significant difference in the difference compared between the observation group and the control group after treatment (P<0.05).The MNCV and SNCV of the median nerve and common peroneal nerve in the 2 groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group were higher than the control group and differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The followed-up recurrence rates in the 6 month of the observation group were 1.7%,which were significantly lower than the control group of 14.0% (P<0.05).Conclusion:Plum-blossom needle treatment of DPN with spleen-kidney deficiency by stasis type can improve neurological function, improve treatment effects and reduce long-term recurrence rate.
