To explore the efficacy of Wenshen Xiaochuan Ointment in the treatment of bronchial asthma patients.Methods:A total of 60 patients with bronchial asthma admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Western Central Hospital of Hainan，were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation，with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional treatment，and the integrated Chinese and western medicine treatment group was treated with Wenshen Xiaochuan Ointment on the basis of the control group.IgE levels and t-lymphocyte subsets，asthma control scale(ACT)scores，asthma attack frequency and total response rate were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment.Results:After treatment，the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%，which was significantly higher than that of the control group(73.33%，P<0.05).The ACT scores of patients in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment，and those in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment，the levels of IgE，CD4+ and CD4+ / CD8+ in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).CD8+ in the observation group was significantly increased and higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:With the aid of conventional Western medicine treatment，Wenshen Xiaochuan Ointment can effectively alleviate the symptoms of asthma，reduce the frequency of asthma attacks，and improve the immunity of the body.It is an effective method for the prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma with the combination of Chinese and Western medicine.
