To explore the effects of external application of Chinese medicines on the patients with advanced colon and rectum malignant tumor.Methods:A total of 400 cases patients with late colon and rectum malignant tumor admitted to Shenzhen Baoan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group，with 200 cases in each group.The control group was treated with dexamethasone infection liquid，and the observation group was treated with external application of Chinese medicine on Shenque point(CV8)，7 d as 1 course of treatment，with a total of 2 courses.The levels of white blood cells，hemoglobin and health status survey(SF-36)scores were compared before and after treatment，and the clinical efficacy after treatment of the 2 groups was compared.Results:After treatment，the levels of white blood cells and hemoglobin significantly increased in the 2 groups，and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The scores of SF-36 significantly increased in the observation group，significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 70.06% in the observation group，which was significantly higher than 53.93% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:External application of Chinese medicine can improve the quality of life of patients with late colon and rectum malignant tumor，and improve the peripheral blood index.
