To explore the efficacy of Xiaoyao Baobei Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)emotional therapy in the treatment of breast hyperplasia.Methods:A total of 103 cases breast hyperplasia patients admitted to Longhua Hospital，Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects and were divided into a control group(n＝51)and an observation group(n＝52)according to random number table method.Patients in the control group were treated with Xiaoyao Baobei Decoction，while patients in the observation group were treated with TCM emotional therapy on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated continuously for 3 months.The clinical efficacy in 2 groups were statisticsed after treatment.The main symptoms，signs，serum estrogen level，the improvement of psychological status and life quality in 2 groups were compared before and after treatment.Results:Compared with those before treatment，the breast pain，breast lumps，generalized symptoms，color doppler ultrasound scores，total score and serum E2 and PRL levels after treatment in 2 groups decreased significantly，and observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.01); after treatment，the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 92.31%，significantly higher than that of the control group(76.47%)(P<0.05); compared with those before treatment，the serum P levels and QOL-BERF scores in the 2 groups increased，and observation group was higher than that of the control group.(P<0.01); the SCL-90 scores of hostile，interpersonal sensitivity，depression，anxiety projects in the observation group decreased，which were lower than those in control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Xiaoyao Baobei Decoction combined with TCM emotional therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and estrogen levels of patients with breast hyperplasia，and improve the patients' bad mental state and their quality of life.
