To study the effects of Tiaozhong Drink on gastrointestinal hormone and electrogastrogram in functional dyspepsia(FD)children.Methods:A total of 123 FD child patients admitted to Yantai Mountain Hospital of Yantai were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into an observation group(n＝62)and a control group(n＝61).The control group was given conventional chemotherapy，and the observation group was treated with Tiaozhong Drink for on the basic of control group.Both 2 groups were treated continuously for 1 month.The clinical efficacy and scores of main TCM symptoms in 2 groups of child patients were compared; the gastrointestinal hormones and electrogastrogram changes before and after treatment in 2 groups were also compared.Results:After treatment，the total effective rate of the observation group(85.48%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(72.13%)(P<0.01).Compared with those before treatment，the symptoms scores of abdominal distention，abdominal scorching hot，abdominal pain，belching，nausea and vomiting and serum content decreased significantly in 2 groups after treatment，and observation group was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01); and the serum MLT，GAS and SP content increased significantly and the MLT and SP contents in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01); compared with those before treatment，the levels of FP，normal slow wave ratio and the proportion of child patients with normal gastric electrical rhythm in 2 groups after treatment increased significantly，and observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01); and the proportion of children with slow gastric rhythm decreased significantly，and observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Tiaozhong Drink in the treatment of children with FD can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms of child patients，promote the recovery of gastrointestinal hormone levels，and effectively improve the electrogastrogram，with good clinical effects.
