To explore the clinical effects of Ziyin Jianghuo Decotion on the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods:A total of 126 patients with PCOS admitted to the Gynecology Department of Hezhou People Hospital from May 2015 to April 2018 were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random lottery，with 63 cases in each group.The control group was treated with oral diane-35 and metformin，and the observation group was treated with Ziyin Jianghuo Decotion on the basis of the control group.The levels of estrogen and insulin，menstrual cycle，score of Ferriman-Gallway(F-G)and clinical efficacy were compared between the 2 groups.Results:After treatment，the levels of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)，luteinizing hormone(LH)，estradiol(E2)，progesterone(P)，testosterone(T)，prolactin(PTF)，1-hour insulin concentration(INS 1 h)，INS 2 h，Fasting plasma insulin（FINS），insulin resistance index(Homa-IR)significantly decreased in both groups，and the sex hormone，insulin level and Homa-IR in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment，the menstrual cycle and score of F-G in the 2 groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that in the control group(84.12% vs 66.63%，P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of POCS with Ziyin Jianghuo Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine can significantly improve patients' sex hormone levels and insulin resistance，and improve menstrual cycle，which is worthy of clinical application.
