To investigate the clinical effects of alendronate combined with Huoxue Yigu Decoction in the treatment of spinal fracture.Methods:A total of 90 middle-aged and old patients with spinal fracture were randomly divided into a control group and a study group with 45 cases in each group according to random number table.After the operation，alendronate sodium was used in the patients of 2 groups and Huoxue Yigu Decoction was used in the study group.Clinical effects of the 2 groups were compared.Results:The total effective rate was 95.56% in the study group and 82.22% in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment，the levels of serum C-reactive protein(CRP)，interleukin-6(IL-6)，procalcitonin(PCT)，fibrinogen(FIB)and D-Dimer(D-D)and visual analogue pain score(VAS)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05)，and Barthel Index and independent living ability score(FIM)were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Alendronate combined with Huoxueyigu Decoction has a significant effectS on the treatment of middle-aged and old patients with spinal fracture.It can help to improve the bone density，reduce the inflammatory reaction，regulate the state of hemorheology，relieve the postoperative pain，and promote the recovery of patients' living ability after surgery.
