Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is an important cultural carrier of the “Belt and Road Initiative”,and an effective way for Chinese cultural communication.Taking “Belt and Road Initiative” as an opportunity,China has vigorously promoted the TCM to the world.Training compound talents of TCM with international vision is an important cornerstone to promote TCM “going out”.Nowadays,the internationalization of TCM is faced with great challenges.How to strengthen the training of compound talents of TCM internationalization is an important topic of new era's higher education of TCM.TCM colleges and universities undertake the important task,and the problems in the internationalization of TCM education in TCM colleges and universities need to be solved urgently.Through SWOT analysis,this paper studies inferior strength,weakness opportunity and challenges of the training compound talents in TCM colleges and universities in the context of“ Belt and Road initiative”,aiming at perfecting the training mode of compound talents in colleges and universities of TCM and training qualified talents to building a bridge for the international spread of TCM.
