To explore the effects of ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection in the treatment of ischemic stroke and its effect on carotid plaque.Methods:A total of 83 patients with ischemic stroke treated in the Second People's Hospital of Huai'an City from January 2018 to November 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different medication methods，they were divided into a control group(n=42)and an observation group(n=41).The control group was given thrombolytic therapy with recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator(rt-PA)，and the observation group was given Ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection based on the treatment method of the control group.The treatment effect，nerve function，quality of life，inflammatory response factors，carotid artery plaque and adverse reactions of the 2 groups were compared.Results:The clinical effects of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment，the NIHSS score，CRP，IL-1 β，Hcy，IL-2，carotid intima-media thickness and atherosclerotic plaque index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group，and Barthel index was higher than that of the control group(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:For patients with ischemic stroke who successfully received rt-PA thrombolytic therapy during the window period，the combined therapy with ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection can further enhance the therapeutic effect，improve neurological function and quality of life，and stabilize serology Indicators and carotid plaque conditions，and the safety of treatment is good.
