To explore the protective effect of Huqian Pill on bone tissue of ovariectomized osteoporosis rats and the mechanism of prevention and treatment of osteoporosis by regulating the expression of ALP,IL-6 and OPG.Methods:The model of postmenopausal osteoporosis rats was made by ovariectomy.The rats were randomly divided into a model group,a Huqian Pills group and an estradiol group.At the same time,a sham operation group was set up as a control,and each group was given corresponding drugs by gavage.After 12 weeks of gavage,blood was taken and executed,the body mass and uterus mass of each group were weighed; the bone density of left femur and tibia of each group were measured; the changes of blood glucose,blood lipid and calcium phosphorus in serum of each group were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer; the contents of IL-6,ALP and OPG in rat serum of each group were detected by ELISA.Results:Compared with sham group,model group BMD decreased significantly(P<0.05); there was significant destruction of bone microarchitecture; compared with model group,Huqian Pill increased bone density of rats,increases the integrity of trabecular bone,bone microarchitecture was improved,the amount of weight gain decreased,blood lipid and glucose levels decreased,IL-6,and ALP content were decreased,levels of OPG elevated,calcium content significantly increased.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Haqian Pills can improve bone mass in ovariectomized rats,prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis,and its mechanism may reduce ALP,IL-6,and improve OPG related content.
