To study the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in the past 25 years.Methods:The Chinese Knowledge Base(CNKI)，Weipu database，Wanfang database and other platforms were used to search the literature on TCM prescriptions for treating Alzheimer's disease，and a prescription database was established.Frequency analysis，cluster analysis，and association analysis were performed on the effective data，from which medication laws was summarized.Results:According to the results of frequency analysis，the top 3 high-frequency drugs were Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii，Radix Polygalae，Poria and Radix Rehmanniae Preparata.Through cluster analysis on the Chinese medicines that met the requirements，a total of 4 types of prescriptions were obtained.According to the results of association analysis，the core of drug compatibility was roughly Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii and Radix Polygalae.Conclusion:The core drugs for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease are Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii，Poria，Radix Polygalae，Herba Cistanches，Fructus Lycii and Radix Polygoni Multiflori.Tonifying kidney and nourishing marrow is the main principle of TCM for treating Alzheimer's disease.Dissipating phlegm for resuscitation and nootropics and tranquillization are common methods for clinical prevention and treatment of s Alzheimer's disease，whose classical drug pair for the disease is Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii-Radix Polygalae.
