Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is one of the refractory diseases of respiratory system diseases.Western therapy is less effective and has some side effects.Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has certain curative effect on IPF.IPF belongs to the category of “lung arthralgia and lung flaccidity” in TCM.In its development，“blood stasis” runs through it.TCM has a certain effect on IPF.The method of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis is one of the characteristic therapies of TCM and plays an important role in the treatment of IPF.Through systematic literature evaluation，this paper systematically analyzes the effectiveness and mechanism of activating blood and removing blood stasis in treating IPF，providing theoretical basis for scientific and standardized IPF related research and clinical treatment.
