To analyze the efficacy of Shouhui Tongbian Capsules in improving constipation in patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy.Methods:A total of 100 patients admitted to Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from July 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a control group(n=50) and an observation group(n=50).The control group received basic diagnosis and treatment，while the observation group received basic diagnosis and treatment at the same time oral Shouhui Tongbian Capsules.After 14 days of treatment，the gastrointestinal peptide indexes of the patients were detected，and the therapeutic effect of constipation was comprehensively analyzed.Results:Compared with the control group，the levels of Substance P(SP) and vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP) in serum of the patients in the observation group were significantly higher(P<0.05).The level of motilin(MTL) was decreased(P<0.05).The defecation habit was improved，the incidence of abdominal distension，abdominal pain，dry mouth and dry throat caused by constipation decreased(P<0.05)，and the total effective rate of treatment was significantly increased(P=0.009).Conclusion:Shouhui Tongbian Capsules can improve gastrointestinal function，has significant effect in the treatment of constipation，and has high clinical application value.
