To explore the clinical efficacy and application value of Yiqi Huoxue Recipe in the treatment of patients with unstable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis type) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:There were 98 patients selected for retrospective study who were diagnosed with unstable angina pectoris undergoing PCI by western medicine and chest impediment and heart pain(qi deficiency and blood stasis type) by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the Second Clinical Medical College of Beijing University of Chinese medicine from September 1，2017 to December 31，2019.By consultation of the medical records and telephone follow-up，the patients were divided into control group(n=54) and observation group(n=44) in the presence and absence of taking Yiqi Huoxue Recipe.The basic clinical data(general information，TCM symptom score，curative effect of unstable angina pectoris，electrocardiogram(ECG) change and re-hospitalization rate in half a year) of the two groups were statistically analyzed.Results:There was difference in the improvement of TCM syndrome score between observation group and control group(P<0.05).After treatment，various TCM symptom scores were compared，and the observation group had lower scores in chest pain，palpitation and spontaneous sweating than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Huoxue Recipe can significantly improve the TCM syndrome of patients，especially in chest pain，palpitation and spontaneous sweating.
