To investigate the effect of Fufang Yimu Capsules on the coagulation function of the patients after medical abortion.Methods:A total of 100 patients who received medical abortion in the Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to December 2020 were enrolled and divided into a control group(n=50) and an observation group(n=50) according to a random number table.All patients were treated with conventional western medicine，while those in the observation group received additional Fufang Yimu Capsules.The coagulation function indexes of the two groups were compared.The abortion，vaginal bleeding time，menstrual recovery time，clinical efficacy，and adverse events of the two groups were observed.Results:Before the medical abortion，there was no statistically significant difference in plasma fibrinogen(Fib)，D-dimer(D-D)，international normalized ratio(INR)，prothrombin time(PT)，activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)，thrombin time(TT)，and antithrombase(AT) levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment，the levels of PT，APTT，TT，and AT in the observation group were higher than those in the control group，while the levels of Fib，D-D，and INR were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The rate of complete abortion and total effective rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The vaginal bleeding time and total incidence of adverse events in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in menstrual recovery time between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Fufang Yimu Capsules can improve the coagulation function of patients after medical abortion and improve the success rate of abortion，which can be widely used in clinical practice.However，the data were insufficient due to the small sample size in this study.
