Abstract:To explore the effects of Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS) on the platelet parameters, language ability, and movement ability in the patients with cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 112 patients with cerebral infarction treated at Department of Neurology,Beijing Daxing District People's Hospital were randomly assigned into an observation group(56 patients) and a control group(56 patients). On the basis of the routine treatment in the control group, the observation group received Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy combined with rTMS.Both treatments lasted for four weeks, and the total effective rate was compared between the two groups.Furthermore, the score of language ability,Fugl-Meyer score, and platelet parameters were compared between before and after treatments and between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(92.86% vs.75.00%,P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of language ability and Fugl-Meyer in the two groups increased(P<0.05) and were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the platelet parameters in the two groups decreased(P<0.05) and were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy combined with rTMS can improve the living ability of the patients with cerebral infarction, which is worthy of application in clinical practice.
