Pueraria lobata is an important medicinal and edible plant with significant value and has a long history of medicinal use and cultivation in China.In recent years,with the rapid development of molecular biology technology,omics has been widely applied in the research on medicinal plants.The multiomics research on P.lobata has gradually developed,providing guidance and methods for the quality improvement of P.lobata.This study reviewed the resource distribution,quality control,multiomics research,cultivation and breeding,and quality improvement of P.lobata to provide a reference for the quality improvement of P.lobata by multiomics techniques.
