Flos Lonicerae Confusae,a common bulk medicinal,originated from Miscellaneous Records of Famous Physicians as the top grade.With abundant germplasm resources and wide distribution,it has always been the main raw material of a variety of Chinese patent medicines and has broad prospects for development and utilization.The rich chemical components and diverse pharmacological activities enable it to be applied in medical treatment,health care,beauty,and other aspects.However,research on the quality evaluation of Flos Lonicerae Confusae should be further improved.Therefore,this study summarized the chemical composition and pharmacological effects of Flos Lonicerae Confusae and predicted the Q-markers of it based on the unique chemical components,pharmacokinetics,conventional effects,traditional properties,different compatibility,and processing methods,which can provide a reference for scientific quality evaluation of Flos Lonicerae Confusae.
