Abstract:To establish a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the determination of four phenylethanoid glycosides (echinacoside,cistanoside A,tubuloside A,and acteoside) in Herba Cistanches with different hosts.Methods:The relative correction factors of cistanoside A,tubuloside A,and acteoside were calculated with echinacoside as internal reference.The content of three components in Herba Cistanches was calculated by quantitative analysis of multiple components by single marker (QAMS),and the results were compared with those determined with external standard method.Results:There was no significant difference in the content of four phenylethanoid glycosides in 6 batches of Herba Cistanches with QAMS and external standard method.Conclusion:The method is accurate and feasible and can be used for the quality control of Herba Cistanches.The results showed that the content of the components in Herba Cistanches with the host of Atriplex canescens was higher than that in Herba Cistanches with the host of Haloxylon ammodendron.
