Abstract:To systematically evaluate the effects of Guipi Decoction on behaviors in chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) model rats. Methods:CCD,CNKI,CSPD,and PubMed were searched for animal experimental studies of Guipi Decoction in the treatment of depression and data were extracted.RevMan 5.3 was used for the Meta-analysis of the outcome indicators (data in the open field test) with Syrcle's risk of bias tool. Results:Seven randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were finally included, involving 144 rats.Meta-analysis results showed that the horizontal score and vertical score in the open field test in the model group were lower than those in the blank group (P<0.01).The Guipi Decoction group was higher than the model group in the scores in the open field test (P<0.01).The above scores were not significantly different between the Guipi Decoction group and the fluoxetine group (P>0.05).Conclusion:Guipi Decoction can significantly improve the behavioral performances such as spontaneous activity and interest in CUMS model rats, and its curative effect is comparable to that of fluoxetine.
